Health Informatics is one of the fastest growing careers in the health care field. As an Administrative Medical Assistant you’ll play a key role in a hospital, clinic or doctor’s office. In addition to learning International Classification of Diseases (ICD) and Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) coding principles, you’ll also learn basic medical office procedures and medical insurance claim processing. You don’t need a background in health care or medicine to train for this career.
