On February 16 at the Business for Breakfast event at the Meridian Technology Center for Business Development, join Jim Wirt, CEO and founder of Beardon Services, who will discuss affordable IT resources that are available to small businesses.

During Wirt’s “IT Advice for Small Businesses” presentation, he will offer insight on how business owners can effectively and efficiently navigate their IT needs. Attendees will learn:

• How to maximize a company’s IT operations
• When to outsource IT needs
• Why it is important to back up data
• What ransomware is and available precautionary measures

For nearly three decades, Wirt and the team at Beardon Services have provided technical services to companies such as Oklahoma State University Fire Protection Publications, KICKER and Mercury Marine’s production plant. With a strong belief in giving back, Wirt and his team frequently donate their time and talent to provide network support to a variety of local non-profit agencies. Beardon Services is a successful graduate of the Meridian Technology Center for Business Development business incubator program.

The Business for Breakfast networking group will meet from 7:30 – 9:00 in Room 104 North in the Center for Business Development at Meridian Technology Center. The meeting includes a guest speaker and provides business owners and entrepreneurs an informal opportunity to network and share ideas and experiences. All networking sessions are free and include a continental breakfast.
