The Focus is on Fun at MTC’s Summer Camps
April 4, 2018

Summertime is fun time at Tech.

Meridian Technology Center will offer hands-on summer camps June 5-7 for students who will be entering 7th through 9th grade in the fall.

“We want to give campers the opportunity to explore a particular topic, get to know kids who have similar interests as them and learn from professionals,” said organizer Judy Sindelar. “Our summer camp frameworks allow students to pick between experiencing a new camp each day or signing up for one three-day themed camp.”

This summer students can try a little bit of Tech with one-day rotating camp offerings that include Automotives from the Inside Out, Health Care Heroes, Salon Style, Digital Download, Infinite Exploration and Build Your Brand. The three-day camp options include From Art to Part and Under Construction. For complete details on each of these summer camps download the brochure and registration form at meridiantech.edu/summercamp.

Each camp format gives students the opportunity to spend three days exploring, building and connecting with people from 10 area school districts. Registration is $66 and includes breakfast, lunch, snacks, transportation from the camper’s home school to Meridian, a T-shirt, supplies and certified instructors.

“Camp space is limited, and it amazes me how quickly camps fill up,” Sindelar said. “There has already been a great response from parents and campers regarding the offerings. Families are encouraged to sign up early.”
