The Unmanned Arial System Cluster of Oklahoma and South Kansas will offer a free Mindset and Methods of Open Innovation workshop at Meridian Technology Center on August 11.
Funded through a contract with the US Small Business Administration, the workshop will equip small- and medium-sized manufacturers with techniques to assist them in identifying new technology and developing partnerships with research institutions.
Speaking at the workshop will be industry experts John Ferguson of SkyNet UAS, Kraettli Epperson of Vigilant Aerospace, and Joel Roark, formerly of ICx Nomadics/FLIR Systems. Presenters will discuss techniques that large companies have successfully used in the process of open innovation and offer ideas on how to adapt those practices to the local market.
The Mindset and Methods of Open Innovation workshop will take place in Room E129 at Meridian Technology Center. Attendees should use entrance two and park in lot B. There is no cost to attend the workshop but registration is required. For more information about the event or to register visit meridiantech.edu/mindsetandmethods.
