From phone calls and text messages to emails and social media sites, technology has given us countless ways to connect with one another.
Along with this convenience comes a whole new set of etiquette rules. Employees and their supervisors are faced with the responsibility of knowing the etiquette associated with each method and device.
On August 14 as part of the ongoing HR Matters series co-sponsored by the Stillwater Chamber of Commerce and Meridian Technology Center, Kim Strom will present Workplace Tech Etiquette: What You Need to Know. During this session, Strom will offer savvy strategies for effective workplace use of technology and provide tips to help supervisors address inappropriate tech habits with employees.
Strom is the Coordinator of Computer Training Services at Meridian Technology Center. She brings years of experience in the area of technology and its application in the workforce. Strom’s passion lies in helping others find technology solutions to make their work and personal life more efficient. Her high-energy and interactive approach in her classroom leads to a casual and fun learning environment.
