Orientation 2022

Join us August 9, 2022, from 3-6 p.m. 

We can’t wait to see you and your family at this come-and-go event! We’ll be available for you and your student to visit four areas:

1. Make sure your student knows who their instructor is and where their class is located. Ask Career Planning Center staff any last-minute questions. You can view a map of campus here.
2. Join us in the Fred A. Shultz Conference Center at 4 or 5 p.m. to hear from Superintendent/CEO Dr. Douglas Major as he shares with parents ways we can partner to make your student’s transition to Tech a success, including attendance and graduation requirements.
3. Visit information booths in the Skywalk.
4. Enjoy an ice cream break in the Terrace.

We’ll also show you everything Meridian has to offer:

• Talk with teachers in your classroom and Career Planning Center staff
  
• Learn about student organizations and how your student can get involved
• Hear about job preparation opportunities
• Learn about career readiness certificates
• Submit any remaining enrollment forms
• Ask financial aid questions
• Sign up for the ACT prep workshop
• Learn about academic credits available at Tech
