Many people enroll in plans that don’t cover their needs or simply end up paying too much. The decisions you make when first enrolling can have lasting effects on your health coverage and the amount you pay for it. We’ll walk you through everything you need to know.
Social Security 101 | February 8, 2023 & April 5, 2023, 6-8 p.m. | $25
As you near retirement, one of the biggest financial decisions you’ll need to make is when to begin receiving your Social Security retirement benefits. This class is designed for people who want to understand how to properly file, maximize eligibility, avoid common mistakes, etc.
Heartsaver CPR/AED | February 9, 2023, 6-10 p.m. | $30
For lay rescuers assigned as first responders to emergencies in the workplace or community. Provides training in adult, child and infant CPR and use of an AED. Must pass skills test for certification.
Infant/Child CPR for Family and Friends | March 9, 2023, 6:30-9:30 p.m. | $25
Designed for the general public, parents, grandparents and babysitters. An entry-level modular course offering instruction in onerescuer child and infant CPR. Will learn basic child and infant CPR skills and recognizing and relieving choking in children and infants. Does not lead to certification.
Heartsaver First Aid | April 6, 2023, 6-9 p.m. | $30
First aid is the immediate care that is given to someone with an illness or injury before someone with more advanced training arrives and takes over.
