Step Right Up | December 1

Ladies and gentlemen, children of all ages … you’re invited to join your counterparts from around the state for a spectacular day of training built to amaze, is sure to wow audiences, and is guaranteed to leave you spellbound with amazement.

Now that we’ve got your attention, let’s pull back the curtain and talk some truth.

For most of us in Workforce and Economic Development, the past few years have felt a lot like a three-ring circus. We’ve tamed tigers, juggled new projects and clients, and walked across high wires. We’ve also learned that no matter what is happening in the world, the carousel doesn’t stop turning, and the show must go on.

But when the applause is over, and the crowds fade, it’s essential to take a moment and reflect on where you are and cast a vision for where you want to be. As we close out this year, what are your goals for 2023?

Workforce and Economic Development teams from across the state are invited to attend an entertaining and educational day of professional development designed to help you build the greatest network on earth.

  • Facilitated conversations and training sessions include:
  • Lion Taming: Examining your role and where your energy goes
  • House of Mirrors: What do you wish others understood about your role?
  • Juggling Training Details Before It’s Showtime
  • Performer Spotlight: What your instructors wish you knew
  • Preparing for Our Vanishing Act: What’s next for your show

Registration includes breakfast from Chick-Fil-A and lunch from Ted’s Café Escondido.

This course will take place at Meridian’s South Campus in Guthrie located at 3025 S. Division.
