High stakes conversations can be tricky, even in the best of settings. What about when we have those difficult conversations in a virtual world?
In a virtual world, it seems these can go from being difficult conversations to impossible conversations, but when the stakes are high these important conversations need to take place regardless of the setting. Whether you are collaborating with a colleague or advising a client, high stakes conversations help all of us improve and reach our goals.
On February 23, as part of the Lunchtime Learning series co-sponsored by the Stillwater Chamber of Commerce and Meridian Technology Center, Molly Kyler will present “High Stakes Conversations in Virtual World.”
During this session, Kyler will engage participants while they learn principles to help lead or participate effectively in high stakes conversations online.
Kyler has been employed at Pioneer Technology Center for the past 22 years. She holds two degrees from the University of Central Oklahoma – a bachelors of science in marketing education and a masters of education in school administration. Kyler’s background is in marketing education and educational leadership. Some of her specialty areas include communications, customized curriculum development and training as well as executive business coaching and people development. She is an alumni of Leadership Oklahoma and holds a credential with the International Coach Federation.
Lunchtime Learning sessions are held from noon to 1 p.m. and will take place virtually using Zoom. Registration for the February 23 training is $10. Lunchtime Learning sessions take place twice a month. For complete descriptions of each session or to enroll, visit meridiantech.edu/lunchtime or contact Marcy Luter at marcyl@meridiantech.edu.
