Extend your talents from behind the chair and into the classroom as a Master Instructor. This program will teach you how to effectively instruct students in the art and science of cosmetology. You’ll sharpen your skills as a communicator and educator while you learn techniques to teach others about shampooing, cutting, coloring and styling hair. You’ll also learn how to provide instruction in massage, facials and scalp treatments and the application of makeup. Students learn about hair removal and providing nail and skin care services. The Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology has established a 1000-hour licensure requirement. This requirement is reflected in this career major. This program is for adult students only.
