It’s hard to imagine a home without electricity. From lights to hot water to Wi-Fi, we’re reliant on electricity to give us all of the comforts of home. In this program you’ll work under the supervision of a licensed electrician and learn how to bring power to all of the plugs and switches. This program will teach you the basics of electrical wiring, how to read plan layouts and how to test electrical systems. Upon completion you’ll receive a certificate which can be used for hours toward achieving your journeyman license.

When a student completes all standards as set forth in their program of study, they will be considered a graduate of Meridian and receive the Career Ready Credential. Students who do not meet these standards will not be considered graduates of Meridian. Students should have:
